FRIDAY
At 7:31 a.m., a 28-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Arrowhead and Convair drives. Bail was set at $1,000.
At 8:55 a.m., a 62-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near Tiger Drive. Bail was set at $500.
At 9:00 a.m., a 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of misuse of 911 and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a man hurting himself near the 100 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $5,500.
At 1:36 p.m., a 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of failure to appear after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Carson and Park. Bail was set at $1,705.
At 5:48 p.m., a 54-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a juvenile problem near the 500 block of Adams Street. Bail was set at $500.
At 5:57 p.m., Brittany Pounds, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and stop sign violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3300 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $2,550.
At 6:28 p.m., Antonio Garcia-Rios, 63, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, DUI, accident hit and run, failure to stop at signal of an officer and disobedience to a traffic control device after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop near Silver Sage and Clearview. Bail was set at $4,540.
At 6:47 p.m., Oscar Avina-Tovor, 35, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion two counts of felony Reno warrants after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2700 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $30,000.
At 8:01 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation and littering after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near the 3000 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $3,500.
SATURDAY
At 8:42 a.m., Amanda Whedbee, 31, of Placerville, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony two counts of providing false identification to avoid prosecution, felony fraudulent use of a credit card, felony fugitive warrant, contempt of court warrant, expired registration, no insurance and suspended driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Industrial Park Drive and Fairview Drive. At the same incident, Anthony Conti, 32, was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive warrant and felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution. Bail for Whedbee was set at $41,125 and bail for Conti was set at $15,000.
At 2:33 p.m., Jacob Watts, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a man pulling a gun at the S. Carson Street AM/PM gas station. Bail was set at $21,000.
At 5:05 p.m., a 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a fight near Clear Creek Avenue. Bail was set at $1,000.
At 7:27 p.m., a 61-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check near the Highway 50 Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $1,000.
SUNDAY
At 2:40 a.m., Dale Chodorowski, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole absconder for burglary after deputies responded to reports of an intrusion alarm at the Curry Street Old Globe Saloon. No bail was set.
At 4:47 p.m., a 63-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 100 block of Empire Lane. Bail was set at $1,000.
At 8:27 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Plaza and 7th Streets. Bail was set at $2,500.
MONDAY
At 1:11 a.m., a Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2700 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,695.
At 1:34 a.m., Jesus Medina, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation after deputies responded to reports of a fight near the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive. At the same incident, a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence. No bail for Medina was set and bail for the 32-year-old was set at $1,000.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
