Kori Lee (Bale) Oesterling, of Carson City, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 after a long illness.
Over the course of her 45 years, she touched many lives with her open heart and sense of humor.
Kori was always the first to advocate for others and would literally give someone the shirt off of her back. True to her nature, she spent much of her last hours worrying about others. Despite her pain and discomfort, she even retained her sense of humor until the end.
Even though she grew up in Reno, Nevada, she was a long time resident of Carson City and was a highly skilled florist who donated much time and talent in making elegant arrangements for various events.
We will always remember Kori’s love for the ocean, motorcycle rides on her husband’s beloved Harley Davidson, her fun loving personality, her immense love for her family and friends, her dedication to her sons, Spencer and Markus, and a deep commitment to her husband Manny.
Kori is survived by her husband, Manny Oesterling; loving sons, Spencer and Markus Oesterling of Carson City; mother, Joette Stukes of Carson City; father, Gary Bale of California; sister, Shelly Bale of Carson City; and brother, Darren Stukes of Colorado.
Kori requested no services but a celebration of life for family and friends. Information regarding location, date, and time will be announced at a later date.
