The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
THURSDAY
At 11:06 a.m., George Joyner, 34, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Airport Road and Woodside Drive. No bail was set.
At 2:54 p.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing after deputies responded to assist Child Protective Services with a child removal near the 1000 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $300.
At 3:44 p.m., Michael Hutchinson, 23, a transient, was arrested on two counts of felony failure to appear and obstructing after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near the 200 block of Sage Street. Bail was set at $13,300.
At 5:44 p.m., a 46-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of stop sign violation, obstructed windshield, brake equipment required, unsafe motor vehicle and driving on the sidewalk after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th and Nevada streets. Bail was set at $225.
At 10:03 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Sherman Lane. Bail was set at $1,000.
FRIDAY
At 12:50 a.m., a 57-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing, jaywalking, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of failure to appear after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Fall and John streets. Bail was set at $11,325.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
