The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office continues the search for two men involved in an armed robbery and shooting Thursday night at the Wigwam Restaurant Casino in Fernley.

The individual shot during the incident, whose wounds weren’t as severe as initially assessed at the scene, has been treated and release from an area hospital.

A 78-year-old woman was also transported from the scene to a local hospital for an unknown medical issue.

An NHP trooper passing by the casino during the incident saw the two suspects flee in a vehicle and began to follow them. When the suspects began to fire shots in a residential neighborhood the trooper didn’t return

fire, but backed off the pursuit and lost sight of the fleeing vehicle.

Secret Witness is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to their arrest and successful prosecution.

The two male suspects wore facemasks and dressed in dark clothing, and were armed. The vehicle they left the scene in is described as a dark sedan.
