The following cases were heard in the Tenth Judicial District Court before Judge Thomas Stockard.
Jennifer Lorraine Wagstrom pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance after bags of methamphetamine were discovered during an unrelated arrest. The proceedings were suspended so she could attend drug court and she was placed on probation not to exceed three years.
Proceedings in the case against Charles Roderick Burgess were continued until later in the month. He is to be arraigned on charges of attempt to attack by vicious dog causing substantial bodily harm.
Jacob Randall Quintero’s case was continued so the defense could arrange an eligibility evaluation for drug court. He is being sentenced on charges of possession of a controlled substance for purposes of sale.
Jeremy James Christen was sentenced to 18 to 60 months in prison for embezzlement. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation not to exceed five years. He was ordered to pay restitution and given 50 days credit for time served.
Peter Nathaniel Schaefer was sentenced to 210 days in prison for battery on an officer or provider of health care. He was given 37 days credit for time served.
