Highway 395 to close Monday morning in Minden for work on Bently Heritage site

U.S. Highway 395 in Minden will be closed in both directions between 8 and 10 a.m. Monday.

The road is closing because Miles Construction will be using a crane to install the roof structure onto the old mill silos at the Bently Heritage Distillery.

Highway 395 in both directions will be closed for about an hour near the construction site once the installation begins. Traffic will be diverted on Highway 395 north and south of the construction site and signs will provide an alternative route.

Expect a slow down on U.S. 395. The closure is a precautionary measure.

Buckeye Road also will be affected and will be closed at Heybourne Road and traffic will be diverted starting at 9 a.m. into the Winhaven development.

The plan to install the roof structure is contingent upon the wind conditions.
