D & D completes $5 million in new jobs

D & D Roofing and Sheet Metal president Ken Dillon announced the company survived a serious string of weather caused delays but still managed to earn $5 million in new jobs since first of the year including $2.6 million in the latest period.

“We had a lot of man hours and equipment tied up on projects, so it really hurt to have them just sitting idle, which cost us a good deal of lost time due to the weather delays,” explained Dillon.

The most recent new jobs completed by the company, which is headquartered in Sparks, included the following: in Reno — Wolf Run Village III (UNR), Reno Student Housing (UNR), Skyline Villas A&R, Bedosians’s Tile and Stone, and Firecreek Crossing; in Sparks — Nuleaf, The Bridges and Renown Clinic; and Coleville High School in Coleville..

D & D Roofing and Sheet Metal, which is now 100 percent owned by its employees, is Nevada’s leading roofing company with headquarters in Sparks, and an office in Carson City. It also offers services to portions of northern Nevada and California. The company handles both residential and commercial roofing projects, and holds seven Contractors Licenses in Nevada, California and Utah and obtained an Asbestos Abatement license in 1989.
