Carson wins numerous Summit Awards

Carson City took home its share of honors at the 12th Annual Summit Awards for Northern Nevada’s commercial development and brokerage industry.

Andie Wilson, broker, owner, NAI Alliance Carson City was awarded Generalist Broker of the Year.

“I have a great team, and they helped make this happen,” Wilson said. “I’m so grateful not only for the support of my team at NAI Alliance Carson City, but also the camaraderie of all the local commercial brokers working here in Carson City. This is really a great place to work in commercial real estate. Everyone works together very positively and dynamically. I’m very fortunate.”

The award is given to the top generalist commercial broker who conducts transactions in office, retail, investment, land, and industrial commercial property types.

Wilson received the award in 2008, 2012 and 2013, and was named Generalist Broker of the Decade in 2015.

Also honored at the May 6 event was Ryan Krueger, associate, ArchCrest Commercial Partners in Reno, who received the Rising Star Award.

Krueger focuses on land sales for single family development in Carson City, Dayton, Douglas County and Fernley and multi-family and mixed-use property in Reno and Sparks.

Carson City also received three Development Awards, which go to building projects.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada William N. Pennington Teen Center was honored with the Public Use Development of the Year.

The 6,500 square foot facility next door to the Multi-use Athletic Center was built by Shaheen Beauchamp Builders LLC and engineered by Lumos & Associates.

Shaheen Beauchamp also built the Top Industrial Development award winner, Click Bond Inc.’s Building 15 expansion, which added 2,500 square feet of lobby and conference room to the manufacturer’s shop floor.

Carson Dermatology on Medical Parkway received the Speciality Office Development of the Year.

The 15,000 square foot medical office was designed by Jeff Frame, Frame Architecture Inc., and built by John Anderson Construction.

This project was also awarded 2016 Best Commercial Project under $5,000,000 from the Builders Association of Northern Nevada.
