Warrant service makes multiple arrests says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 7:21 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1000 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 8:05 a.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a domestic battery near Pine and Hampton. At the same incident,a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail for the 30-year-old was set at $465 and bail for the 35-year-old was set at $4,000.

At 11 a.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of three counts of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1700 block of Brown Street. Bail was set at $6,750.

At 11:16 a.m., a 20-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of extended protection order violation after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 3700 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:58 a.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of criminal contempt after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1400 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 1:52 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of use or possession of chemicals for hallucinogen after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near College Parkway. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:45 p.m., Rick Chapman, 52, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and resisting arrest after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the Market Street Home Depot. Bail was set at $20,250.

At 9:10 p.m., a 38-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2700 block of Highway 50.

WEDNESDAY

At 3:56 a.m., Matthew Shepley, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, violation of probation, no proof of insurance, revoked driver’s license and revoked registration after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated person near Highway 50 and Airport Road. Deputies located Shepley in a vehicle where he fled into Lyon County. Lyon County deputies located and detained him near Calcite Drive in Moundhouse. Bail was set at $24,150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
