Larry Cecil “Deed” Miller passed away at Carson Tahoe Hospital on August 29, 2017 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Deed was born in Fallon, Nevada on July 13, 1939 to Walter and Cecilia Miller. He was raised in Fallon and graduated from Churchill County High School in 1957.
Deed worked for and retired from Pacific Gas and Electric in California. After retirement he moved back to Fallon for a time and then to Fernley, where he lived at the time of his death.
Preceded in death by wife, Barbara; wife, Judy; son, Timothy; brothers, Rodney and Frankie; sister, Dixie.
Deed is survived by his companion, Alyce Hughes; children, Micky Miller, Victor Miller and Tony Miller, Mauvette Bailey, Allen Hughes, Daniel Hughes, Kimberly Hughes, Lisa Lynch; brothers, Dave, Mick and Curtis; and sister, Jeannie; numerous grand and great children , nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Deed’s life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 A M at The Gardens Chapel.
Donations may be made in Deed’s memory to the National Parkinson Foundation 200 SE 1st Street Miami, Florida 33131.
