The Carson Area Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America will be sponsoring a 2017 POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony on Sept. 15 at the Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Wall on the Capitol Grounds.
The ceremony will commence at 11 a.m. In addition to speakers, a Missing Man Ceremony will be presented featuring veterans representing each of the five branches of the military.
Veterans and the general public are encouraged to attend and join in honoring those who have given their all and have yet to come home.
