Firefighters are responding to a fire burning in Brunswick Canyon in East Carson City. Evacuations are ongoing as the fire is burning up Brunswick Canyon. Carson City Fire Department said the fire has burned an estimated 10 acres. The fire started about 2:15 p.m. in the area of rifle range off of Flint Road in east Carson City. Roads and recreation areas between Carson City and Lyon County are evacuated. The range is closed for the day.#RifleRangeFire UPDATE 4:51 p.m. The fire is estimated at burning 100 acres.
