Man who ‘doesn’t call the police’ arrested after threatening others with a gun, Carson City Sheriff’s Office says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 4:54 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a failure to appear warrant. Bail was set at $295.

At 8:09 p.m., a 54-year-old Yerington man was arrested on suspicion of two contempt of court warrants. Bail was set at $8,000.

At 9:54 p.m., a 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first. Bail was set at $3,137.

At 8:44 p.m., Justin Lee Hewitt-Patrick, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance; trafficking-schedule one; two counts of prohibited person in possession of a firearm; unlawful concealed carry of a firearm; and two counts of disregard to public safety after officers were called to AM/PM on Highway 50 East on reports of a man with a gun in his waistband threatening to shoot others. Victims said Hewitt-Patrick never drew the firearm but instead allegedly lifted his shirt to expose the firearm. Upon his arrest Hewitt-Patrick was transported to Carson Tahoe Hospital after claiming to have a gunshot wound from 30 days ago. He told officers he didn’t report the shooting because, “he doesn’t call the police,” according to the arrest report. No wound was found after being evaluated. Bail was set at $90,000.

WEDNESDAY

At 12:49 a.m., a 27-year-old transient male was arrested on suspicion of for a felony warrant for failure to appear and violation bailing conditions. No bail was set.

At 11:46 a.m., a 29-year-old transient male was arrested on suspicion of on petit larceny and on a warrant for violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,352.

THURSDAY

At 4:40 a.m. , a 60-year-old Washoe Valley woman was arrested on suspicion of a violation of a suspended sentence. Bail way set at $3,000.
