Ballet students age 3 and up have the chance to star in “Peanutcracker - The Story in a Nutshell,” which will play Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at the Carson City Community Center and Dec. 10 at the Pioneer Center in Reno.
Auditions will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at Sierra Nevada Ballet, 3929 S. McCarran Blvd. in Reno.
Girls 12 and up may bring pointe shoes. Advanced and professional dancers can audition for paid positions by appointment.
