The Medford Mustangs jumped out to an early 7-0 lead after two innings on their way to a 13-3 win over the Carson Blue Jays in summer league baseball action on Tuesday.
Carson scored three runs in the fourth inning to pull to within 7-3 before Medford pulled away.
Kahle Good, Josh Buchan and Casey Martensen all drove in runs for Carson.
Carson did rack up nine hits as Martensen and Good each had two hits.
Buchan, Delsin Roberts, Garritt Benivedez, John Ingram and Bryce Baker all had one hit for the Blue Jays.
