Nevada still sixth in AP poll

RENO — The University of Nevada men’s basketball team held steady at sixth in the Associated Press poll released Monday but moved up two spots to seventh in the USA Today Coaches poll. The Wolf Pack is off to a 3-0 start after an 87-59 victory over Little Rock on Friday.

The Pack closes out a four-game homestand to start the season hosting California Baptist on Monday at 7 p.m. The game is part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational. Nevada takes to the road for its next six games before hosting NCAA Tournament participant South Dakota State on Dec. 15 at Lawlor Events Center.
