Phillips thanks ESL In-Home fundraiser supporters
Thank you to all who attended the first annual fundraiser for the ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada held at the Governor’s Mansion on August 28, 2018.
We appreciate your continued support of our program. Our program would not be as successful as it is without the help of our currently active community volunteer tutors, supporters, and our partnerships. Since February 2004, our program has assisted more than 5,000 adult learners to become more informed and self-reliant by learning to speak, read, write, and understand English. We are extremely proud of our 306 students who are now U.S. citizens.
Thanks again to our wonderful community supporters. We specifically are grateful to Mayor Robert Crowell, Trader Joe’s, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, Carson Nugget, Juan’s Grill, Ron Wood Family Resource Center, San Marcos Restaurant, Walmart, El Charro Avita Restaurant, Gold Dust West, Videographer Jennifer Reynolds-Strange and the Metzonali Dance Group.

Thank you, CTH staff & kind community
To the ICU housekeeping, nursing, medical, and entire staff at Carson Tahoe Hospital, we thank you.
You anticipated and attended to my every need while I was there during my husband Don’s final days.
The compassionate care you gave not only to him, but also to us, will always be remembered.
Our thankfulness is also extended to the many compassionate people who have given their comfort and support in heartfelt cards, calls, memorials, and providing food.
Your thoughtfulness has meant more than can be expressed.
With gratitude,
Vera Logie and family
