Possible action on an update of current activities, plans, or actions related to the Bureau of Land Management’s Carson City District.
Possible action on the adoption of Resolution No. 1892018 designating the real property located at 980 Wildes Road, Churchill County, Nevada (APN00671104) as a “blighted area” as defined in NRS 279.388.
Possible action on the presentation of the State Engineer’s Ruling No. 6446 on Southern Nevada Water Authority’s (SNWA) applications to appropriate underground waters for Eastern Nevada Pipeline Project and direction from the board related to the county’s position on this subject.
Possible action on the solicitation of input for the Carson Water Subconservancy District (CWSD) regarding CWSD submitting an Amicus Brief opposing the use of the Public Trust Doctrine to be applied to water rights already adjudicated and settled under the Doctrine of Prior Appropriation. The board will be providing input and comments on the county’s position related to this litigation but will not be taking formal action.
Possible action on the designation of the Accounting Specialist Position within the Comptroller’s Office as a Critical Labor Shortage Reemployment Position to maintain the accurate completion of the Accounting Software Conversion.
