Carson High School, gymnasium snack bar, 1111 S. Saliman St., score: 2, grade: A. Potentially hazardous food was being held at temperatures that support micro-organism growth. Hot dogs, cheese and chili were found at 57 degrees.

Pioneer High School, cafeteria, 202 E. Corbett St., score: 0, grade: A.

Dunkin’ Donuts, 2190 E. William St., score: 2, grade: A. Garbage storage container lids were open. The code requiring the person in charge to be present during food operation and demonstrate knowledge of food safety practices was in violation.

Glen Eagles, bar and lounge, 3700 N. Carson St., score: 2, grade: A. The hand-wash sink wasn’t supplied with soap or disposable towels or an approved drying device.

Max Casino, snack bar, 900 S. Carson St., score: 2, grade: A. The code mandating cleaning frequency of equipment, food-contact surfaces and utensils, was in violation.

Sassafras, restaurant, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, score: 2, grade: A. An inadequate amount of chlorine residual was detected on dishes after the mechanical dishwasher’s final rinse. Frozen cold cut meat was being thawed in a way that didn’t minimize microbial growth. Cutting board/block surfaces were excessively cracked, cut or chipped. The floor was in disrepair.

Glen Eagles, restaurant, 3700 N. Carson St., score: 7, grade: A. Raw fish and beef were being stored above vegetables and cooked food. Eggs were being stored above bread. The stock of shellfish wasn’t being properly labeled or maintained. Floors, walls and/or ceilings were dirty.
