The project to upgrade Long Ranch Park trails starts Monday, April 15 and should take about two months, according to Carson City’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space.
The $291,392 project will replace pedestrian access ramps and concrete panels, and patch path asphalt. It’s focusing on safety and ADA improvements and is being paid for through a combination of a Community Development Block grant, Quality of Life funds and city capital improvement money.
Long Ranch Park and park paths will remain open and the public is asked to avoid all construction zones.
