CHS golf falls to fourth

The Carson High golf team fell into fourth place in the Sierra League standings after a fourth place finish in the league tournament on Tuesday at Genoa. Galena won the tournament with a 290 and was followed by Manogue (327), Douglas (348) and Carson (364). In the overall standings, Galena is first, Manogue is second, Douglas third and CHS fourth. Douglas has 18 points while Carson has 17 points. On Tuesday, Zander Smokey finished in a tie for 10th as he shot an 85. Also for the Senators, Lukas Taggart firedan 87, Daniel Escalante had a98, Brandon Engels shot a 97, Nick Brown had a 95 and Cole Warkentin added a 99.
