Aug 12, 1948 - Feb 01, 2019 Kevin Welsh, adored husband of Arvilla  Agerton Welsh, passed into the arms of the Lord on February 1, 2019 at the age of 70. Kevin was born in Duluth, Minnesota to William and Jeanne Welsh. Oldest (by five minutes) to twin brother Kerry, sister Barbara, brother John, and sister Carolyn. Kevin earned two Masters degrees, in Public Finance and Public Administration, from Arizona and Arizona State. He served proudly as an Air Force Missileer Combat Crew member with the Strategic Air Command. He was a member of many military and Scottish organizations as well. He was retired from the Legislature after 25 years with the LCB. He married Arvilla, the love of his life, in St. Margaret's Chapel at the Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. Kevin was an adventurer, traveling throughout Europe, the UK, North and South America, and his favorite of all, the Caribbean. He was a sailor choosing to sail in schooners, he must have been a pirate in a former life. He was an accomplished skier, racing and downhill gave him a thrill. He was Director of the Lee Canyon Ski Patrol as well as a senior Patroller at Mt. Rose. He loved to dive, and was a divemaster and instructor. He once jumped out of an airplane and had a dual parachute malfunction, managing to cut his reserve chute out of the pouch a mere 100 feet above the ground. That hurt. He loved camping with his wife, grandkids and dogs in his motorhome. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jeanne Welsh, his sister Barbara, his brother, John, and his beloved in laws Jim and Dorothy Agerton. Kevin is survived by his adoring wife, Arvilla;  his brother, Kerry and his wife Nancy; his sister, Carolyn and her husband Bill; brother in law Billy Chambers brother and sister in law Mike and Jacque Agerton; brother and sister in law Steve and Florence Agerton His step-children, Jim Crosby and his wife Isis; Jennifer Crosby-Monton; and Stephanie Crosby and her partner Larry Connor. He also left eight grandchildren, Clayton (Kickstart) Peel, Breanna Walls, Connor Crosby, Kaygen (Buddy) Hornback, Landon Monton, Laura Connor, Julie Connor, and Jameson Crosby, along with numerous nieces, nephews and his two utterly spoiled  puppies, Bonnie the Black Lab, and Chloe, the Bloodhound. Goodbye, My Sweet, Daddy, Pops, Dad, Grandpa, Gampy. We will miss you and love you forever. Per Kevin's request a celebration of life will be held later.
