TUESDAY

• At 11:15 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicle driving recklessly through a field near Highway 50 East. The arresting deputy said he found the truck stuck in mud in a field. The occupants had left the scene but a K-9 tracked them down, following them into Lyon County where both the male and female were discovered and identified by their distinctive boot prints. Roger Hipple, 55, and Joyce Pritchdett were each arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle after a records check showed the vehicle had been stolen in Reno. Bail for each was set at $10,000.
