The Carson High wrestling team rolled to a 54-12 win over Wooster on Wednesday. Only four matches were wrestled and Carson won three of the four matches.
Ariel Vega won by pin at 106 pounds and Izayah Pando won at 152 for the Senators. Luis Mayoral also moved up a weight division to 126 and he won his match for CHS.
“We are starting to wrestle like I know we can,” Carson coach Nick Redwine said. “It’s taken most of the season but I think our team has really bought into the mentality that we want — aggressiveness paired with good technique.”
Carson will host Douglas at 6 p.m., Wednesday in a match that could determine the Sierra League title.
