January 8, 1927 - January 12, 2019 Margery Seevers (Fallon) age 92 passed away on Jan 12, 2019. She was born on January 8, 1927, in Eureka, Nevada to parents John and Letitia Potts, a ranching family. She spent her young life on the Potts Ranch in the Monitor Valley and attended schools in Austin and the University of Nevada, Reno. She married Cliff Seevers August 31, 1947, making Reno their home until they retired to Fallon. Cliff and Margery were devoted to all family members, helping when needed by taking them into their home and by providing care when necessary. She was always up for family hunting, fishing and camping trips. While widowed for 32 years, Margery worked at various small businesses and volunteered at the food bank and Churchill County Museum. She enjoyed her affiliations with the neighborly neighbors, church functions, Red Hats, Garden Club, Lunch Bunch, Wednesday Breakfast Club and others. She never passed up an opportunity to socialize. She thoroughly enjoyed her friends and deeply appreciated all kindnesses bestowed upon her especially these last struggling years. Being referred to as Mom, Grandma, and G.G., Margery enjoyed everything family. She was an excellent cook and baker, her recipes passed down through generations. Each family member enjoyed her in special ways, and everyone spent hours of game playing with her. Family visits were cherished. Her home, flowers, and love of birds brought her much joy as well. She is survived by her children, Patty Carter (Mickey), Jim Seevers (Nadine), grand children Lori VanDyk (Shane), Brandon Seevers (Cristine), Stacey Dinan(Sean), Megan Roberts(Brady), great grandchildren, Dylan VanDyk(Jade), Samantha and Sydney Dinan,  Derek VanDyk, Ashley and Natalie Roberts, and Trey and Connor Seevers. We wish to thank the Golden Years Castle  in Reno, especially Lucy, for the care and  compassion that was given to Marge in her last days. Donations may be made in Margery’s name to the William N. Pennington  Life Center (Senior Center), 952 S. Maine St. Fallon, NV. 89406. They helped her in various ways these past 3 years. At Margery’s request there will be no services.
