Despite its continued winning ways, the University of Nevada men’s basketball team continued its downward trend in this week’s Associated Press poll.

The Wolf Pack, 19-1, fell from No. 7 to No. 8 in the poll released on Monday morning. Kentucky moved ahead of Nevada at No. 7 in the poll. The top eight teams in the poll in order are Tennessee, Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga, Michigan, Michigan State, Kentucky and Nevada.

The Wolf Pack will play at UNLV at 8 p.m. Tuesday in a game to be televised by ESPN2.

Nevada, though, did remain No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches poll.
