The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
FRIDAY
At 6:20 p.m., a 35-year-old was arrested after deputies responded to a report of unauthorized person entering the Brewery Arts Center which was closed at the time. Two men fitting the description of the individual were stopped by deputies a couple of blocks away and a check with dispatch revealed one of them had two outstanding warrants. His bail was set at $6,000.
At 11:15 p.m., Angela Enoch, 60, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding on Highway 50 East. She was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia after a drug dog alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Her bail was set at $3,500. In addition, the other person in the vehicle, Dwayne Enoch, 39, was ordered held by Parole and Probation because of the drugs in the vehicle. He was held without bail.
SATURDAY
At 3:10 a.m., Francisco Guiterrez, 23, was arrested for violating probation conditions after a deputy spotted him lying next to a vehicle on Robinson Street. The woman with him said he tripped trying to get out of the vehicle. The arrest report says he was intoxicated, violating his release conditions. He was ordered held without bail.
At 2:44 p.m., a 34-year-old woman was arrested after a traffic stop for no front license plate attached to the vehicle. The arrest report states the deputy chose to arrest her for that and driving on a suspended license after dispatch reported she had four previous citations for failure to appear for charges of driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $525.
At 3:45 p.m., a 32-year-old woman was arrested on drug charges after security at Sportsman’s Warehouse called deputies because they said the woman was apparently taking items from the store and putting them in her purse. The arrest report says she put those items back but deputies searched her purse after saying that she gave permission and found empty needles, heroin residue and several prescription pills in aluminum foil. She was charged with possession of paraphernalia and the prescription drugs. Bail was set at $3,500.
At 8:36 p.m., two people were arrested after deputies responded to Jackpot Crossing on a report of people possibly doing drugs. Vanessa Leon and Jeffrey Haugen, both 36, were each charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia after a drug dog alerted to the presence of drugs in their backpacks. Bail was set at $3,500 bail apiece.
At 10:33 p.m., a 24-year-old Dayton man was arrested after deputies spotted two of his friends trying to pick him up off the grassy area outside the Nugget. He was jailed for violating pre-trial conditions by consuming alcohol and held on $3,000 bail.
SUNDAY
At 9:19 a.m., a Washoe Valley man was charged with multiple misdemeanors after a traffic stop on Highway 50 East for an expired registration. He was also charged with no insurance, a suspended driver’s license and held on failure to appear warrants from both Storey and Washoe counties. Bail was set at $2,105.
At 7:25 p.m., a 28-year-old man was charged with domestic battery 1st offense after deputies responded to an address on Woodside Drive. He was charged with battering his wife. Bail was set at $3,000.
MONDAY
At 6:34 p.m., Geoffrey Walker, 37, was charged with making phone calls from the city jail to the victim in his criminal case despite a court order prohibiting contact with the female victim. He was charged with felony attempting to dissuade the victim from testifying against him and two counts of violating bail conditions. Total bail was set at $11,000.
At 6:35 p.m., Gerson Meza-Aguilar, 46, was arrested on charges he attempted to run down his ex-girlfriend and another man in their yard, crashing his vehicle into the vehicle they were behind. The female victim told deputies he has been threatening her. The owner of the damaged vehicle confirmed their version of the story. Meza-Aguilar was charged with two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, battery, destruction of property and hit and run. Bail was set at $49,500.
