Old World Coffee Lab opens in The Union in downtown Carson City

Carson City has a new coffee shop in an old space.

Old World Coffee Lab opened Friday in the back half of The Union, replacing Hub Coffee Roasters which opened there when the Mark Estee restaurant launched in 2017.

Old World has two Reno locations, on California Avenue and on Prototype Drive.

The shop offers coffee, tea, hot chocolate, espresso, and craft drinks such as vanilla lavender latte, and sells coffee beans.

A grand opening celebration March 15-17 will offer buy one, get one free.

Old World Coffee Lab, 301 N. Curry St., is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
