Players to watch out for: Jace Harmon. He missed qualifying for state by less than two strokes last year. He’s working hard and is on pace to qualify. Kandon Huckaby is a natural with a great swing and knowledge of the game.
What are your team’s goals for the season?: Improve from tournament to tournament and work individually on improving. To build a program where the boys stay for four years to see that hard work and dedication pay off. Golf is a difficult sport that takes years to master. Kids nowadays want instant success. Golf is going to take time. Jace has put in the time and it is paying off.
Who are your leaders/captains and what do you expect from them?: Jace Harmon to mentor and encourage the younger players.
What are the team’s strengths and areas to work on?: They are young and willing to learn. The young players need to work on everything.
How does the league look and which teams will be tough to beat?: It’s very strong this year. Truckee will be the team to beat. South Tahoe and Lowry will follow.
What does Fallon need to do to make the playoffs, including state?: Jace will need to shoot consistently in the 80s.
