The 27th annual Fred Alexander Memorial Family Golf Clinic will be held on Sunday, May 19 at Eagle Valley Golf Course. The free clinic is for boys and girls ages 6-17 and their families.
Sign-in will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. the day of the event and the clinic will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sponsors are Michael Hohl Automotive, Battle Born Harley-Davidson, Duncan Golf Management, Sierra Nevada Chapter-Northern California PGA section, The E.L. Cord Foundation, the E.J. Tegner Foundation, the Antigua Group, Northern Nevada Women’s Golf Association and Northern Nevada Golf Association.
Special guest for the event will again be one of the world’s best trick shot performers, Dean Jones.
The free clinic will provide an introduction to golf with a trick-shot exhibition and individual lessons from more than 40 Sierra Nevada Chapter/NCPGA professionals and apprentices. All participants will receive prizes, snack lunch, T-shirt, backpack and a golf club while they last for those who don’t have their own equipment.
Veterans are especially invited to participate in the event.
