Fernley author and illustrator Mary Jean Kelso will sign books at the Fallon Convention Center Saturday at the Armed Forces Day celebration.
The activities and a craft show will be hosted by Fallon Lights of Christmas.
“Bubba and Bridgette’s Big Adventure,” a story about an escapee goat and his horse friend, is published by Guardian Angel Publishing, Inc.

“ALIENS!” is a childrens’ book written and illustrated by Kelso.
A little girl, frightened by her playmate’s make-believe game, spends a restless night wandering through her home looking for reassurance. In order for her to go to sleep, her mother promises to teach her the difference between fact and fiction.
