Man sleeping at 3:30 a.m. in car at Taco Bell results in possession of meth charge, Carson City Sheriff’s Office says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 8 a.m., Robert Rowland, 61, an inmate at Northern Nevada Correctional Center, was booked on five felony counts including open murder and 1st degree murder. He was also charged with battery with a deadly weapon and two counts of assault on a protected person. He was held without bail.

At 8:07 a.m., Adrian Hernandez, 28, was charged with burglary after a resident called dispatch to say there was a stranger in the Winnie Lane residence fighting with the person’s parents. Bail was set at $20,000.

TUESDAY

At 7:21 p.m., a 28-year-old landscaper was charged with violating probation conditions after deputies were called to the scene of a car crash on Woodside Drive. He was on alternative sentencing with a no alcohol provision. Bail was set at $3,000.

WEDNESDAY

At 4:26 a.m., a 34-year-old was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property after witnesses identified him as the man who broke into a pickup truck on Woodside Drive. His bail was set at $600.

THURSDAY

At 10:45 a.m., Steven Viola, 34, was charged with burglary after deputies responded to multiple reports of vehicle burglaries in the Stanton Drive area. The arrest report states that he admitted entering multiple vehicles while very drunk. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 11:23 a.m., a 34-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of petit larceny at Walmart for allegedly taking multiple clothing items. Bail was set at $250.

At 8:19 p.m., Paul Hannaford, 48, was charged with burglary for attempting to take a pair of whose valued at $145 from Sportsman’s Warehouse. Bail was set at $25,000.

At 1:06 p.m., Ryan Williams, 34, was arrested on multiple charges after deputies responded to a residence on Thurman Circle for a report of a stolen dirt bike. A deputy saw the bike in the backyard of the residence and obtained a search warrant. Williams was charged with possession of stolen property, as an ex-felon in possession of firearms and five counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. He was also held on a failure to appear warrant. Total bail was set at $51,238.

At the same residence, a 22-year-old woman was charged with obstructing for allegedly interfering with deputies. Her bail was set at $300.

At 9:11 p.m., a 57-year-old woman was arrested on a battery charge for allegedly fighting security at the Nugget attempting to get her to leave the casino. Bail was set at $1,000.

FRIDAY

At 12:48 a.m., a 58-year-old woman was arrested on after a traffic stop on Stewart Street for a suspended registration. She was also charged with driving on a suspended license and held on two contempt of court warrants. Bail was set at $2,278.

At 3:36 a.m., Darren Lawson, 42, was arrested on drug charges after deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot on Highway 50 East. The arrest report states that the vehicle engine was running and Lawson was asleep in the front seat. The vehicle was searched after a drug dog alerted on it and deputies found a pipe and small amount of meth. He was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,500.
