Telegraph Square has a new old sign.

The long-standing sign was removed during road construction on Curry Street and has now been refurbished by the Downtown 2020 Group.

Doreen Mack, president of the downtown business association, and Supervisor Lori Bagwell unveiled the sign Saturday morning.

The new sign points in the direction of all the businesses that contributed to its rehabilitation. Those businesses also provided raffle items and food for the celebration.

The businesses are Battle Born Social, Carson Jewelry and Loan, Champagne Beauty Bar, Cipriani’s Barber Shop, Cucina Lupo, Fabulous You Salon, Old Globe Saloon, Peak Real Estate, Rustically Divine, Squeeze In, Union Eatery and Tap House and WestSide Pour House.

The sign was found after construction by Carson City Public Works after reconstruction of Curry Street and Alltizer’s Powder Coating, American Metal Worx, and Vital Signs helped rehabilitate it.
