Elva Jones

Elva passed away April 1st of health complications. She was in the comfort of her home and family in Dayton, NV. When she left to be with our Lord.

Elva was born to Claude and Arvie Cunningham in Jonesboro, AK in 1931. Elva had two children Mike and Paula. Elva and her husband of 50 years Jonnie, moved from Inglewood, CA to Carson City, NV in 1970.

Elva enjoyed going to yard sales, thrift stores, and socializing with everyone. For several years Elva was a nanny and very influential in the raising of many children in our community. She had a heart of gold and was always thinking of others.

She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Arvie, Brother: Bob Cunningham, and son: Mike Harr.

She is survived by her husband Jonnie Jones, Daughter: Paula Sue, Daughter in law: Shelley Harr, Grandchildren: David Grimes, Jesse Harr, Jolee Harr, and Great grandchildren: Michael and Jonny Grimes.

Elva Jones touched the hearts of so many and will be missed so much.
