The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded Nevada $18.4 million to buy Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for essential workers.
Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., said those workers need proper safety equipment to protect them from the virus while at work.
The money was contained in the CARES Act and is intended to cover first responders, health care workers and others on the front lines fighting the pandemic.
