A man is dead in the Gardnerville Ranchos after Douglas County deputies responded to a report of several gunshots near the 1400 block of Bumblebee Drive 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Everyone involved was detained and Douglas Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the shooting, according to Undersheriff Ron Elges.
Elges said there is no threat to the rest of the community.
