On Tuesday October 27, 2020 Dail E Turney loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away at the age of 83.
His family moved to Hawthorne, Nevada when he was 12 where he graduated from high school in 1955. Dail served in the US Airforce from1955 until 1962. He was a lifetime member of The Comstock Fraternal Order of Eagles and Julia C. Bulette Chapter of E Clampus Vitus.
On November 8, 1963 he married Patricia V. Truitt and together they raised 4 children, William (Bill), Vickie, Linda, and Annamarie.
Dail earned his BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno and enjoyed a career with Sierra Pacific Power Company for the next 32 years. Patty passed in 1990 and He married Phyllis Foremaster on May 23, 2003.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis and her daughter Lisa, 4 children, grandchildren Jillian, Tamera, Katrina, Stephanie, and Ray, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, brothers Tom, Steve and Bill, and Sisters Pat, Helen, and Mary.
A Memorial Service will be held November 5, 2020 at 12:30 pm at the Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.
