19 new COVID cases; walk-in vaccinations available Wednesday

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 19 new cases and 20 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region on Tuesday.
This brings the total number of cases to 12,430, with 11,785 recoveries and 226 deaths; 419 cases remain active.

COVID-19 Vaccination Walk-In Clinic

There is a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic:

  • Wednesday, April 28, 2021 | 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    • Fernley City Hall (595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley)
    • 50 First doses of Moderna
    • Second dose: May 26, 2021

The first doses of the Moderna vaccine are available on a first come, first served basis. Those who previously scheduled an appointment for that date will have their appointments honored. The date for the second dose is provided. Please ensure you are available that day as well to receive your second dose.

Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents
