14 new COVID cases; CCHHS removes one death from total

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 14 new cases and 23 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region.
This brings the total number of cases to 12,443, with 11,808 recoveries and 225 deaths; 410 cases remain active.
During a data audit, it was determined that a previously reported death lived outside of the Quad-County Region. This individual was initially reported as a Carson City case and death. The total number of cases and deaths reflects the removal of this individual as well as the new cases identified today.

The first doses of the Moderna vaccine are available on a first come, first served basis. Those who previously scheduled an appointment for that date will have their appointments honored. The date for the second dose is provided. Please ensure you are available that day as well to receive your second dose.
 
Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents
