In their last meeting July 15, the Carson City Board of Supervisors prohibited cannabis consumption lounges from being issued business licenses in the city. Now, they’re eying a ban on curbside pickup of cannabis products.
The board will gather Thursday, Aug. 5 at 8:30 a.m. in the Robert “Bob” Crowell board room at the Community Center, 851 E William St.
Among their agenda items:
• Discussion and possible action on prohibiting curbside pickup of cannabis, and a second reading to confirm the city ordinance that passed last meeting, prohibiting cannabis consumption lounges in the city.
• A presentation by city staff on the Roadway Needs and Funding Report, which outlines pavement conditions, funding needs, and options to fill the transportation funding gap.
• A presentation by Nevada State Treasurer Zach Conine. He will be introducing Nevada’s plan for deciding how to allocate American Rescue Plan funding.

• Discussion and possible action on a grant application to bring broadband service to the Lakeview and Timberline neighborhoods.
