The Cave Rock boat ramp and parking lot will be closed on Monday, Aug. 23 for a repaving project.
Crews from the Nevada Department of Transportation will resurface the boat ramp and parking area with a sealing layer of asphalt to reduce roadway cracking and rutting and restore surface traction. The park will also be closed for several hours sometime during the week of Aug. 30 to restripe the new blacktop.
