It’s the last thing that an up-and-coming music festival wants to do. However, the organizers for the inaugural Battle, Axe & Tracks taking place October 2 and 3, 2021 in Carson City, have decided to postpone the inaugural two-day festival in light of growing concerns and requirements surrounding the latest increase in COVID cases nationally.

“We have ticketholders coming in from nearly 20 states, so the last thing we want to do is put in harm’s way our attendees or our local community,” said event organizer Ken Farley with E720 Productions. “It’s not the message we wanted to deliver. We had a vision for Battle, Axe and Tracks to produce a festival centered around the return of live music and entertainment – without masks and without social distancing protocols. With rising concerns across the industry, at this point, it doesn’t seem like we would be able to deliver the experience originally envisioned. We’re heartbroken to make this call, however, we are committed to keeping the artist lineup as planned and are more dedicated than ever to the success of this event.”

Tickets will roll over to the new date for anyone who has purchased tickets to date.

The new dates for the October 2022 festival will be announced by early September.

Battle, Axe & Tracks is a two-day festival designed to provide a full entertainment experience with tickets including 15 bands over two days, rides on the V&T Railway’s Freedom Railbikes and axe throwing, along with VIP seating options, a beer garden and more.

The event is produced and developed by E720, founded in 2021 by Farley and Gina Lopez bringing more than 20 years of event experience.

More details will be posted as available on the event’s Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as online at BattleAxeandTracks.com.
