Carson City organizations collecting donations for Caldor Fire evacuees

Several organizations (Carson City Republican Party, Battle Born, Stand Tall Nevada, plus others) are banding together to support our Lake Tahoe fire evacuees.

There will be a drive-through supplies drop-off at the Legislature starting Tuesday at 1 p.m. You may drop off supplies driving north on Carson Street in front of the Legislature.

Please help by providing non-perishables: water, juice boxes, energy bars, etc. (must be sealed and not need refrigeration). These supplies are most needed by our neighbors being evacuated from Lake Tahoe to the CC Community Center and other possible locations.
