4 COVID-19 deaths reported in Carson City, Lyon County on Friday

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 4 additional deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individuals were:

• A female Lyon County resident in her 80’s
• A female Carson City resident in her 80’s
• A female Carson City resident in her 80’s
• A female Carson City resident in her 90’s

CCHHS is also reporting 15 new cases and 10 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 11,086, with 8,673 recoveries and 207 deaths; 2,206 cases remain active.

COVID-19 VACCINATION EVENTS RESCHEDULED 
Due to inclement weather across the country delaying the delivery of COVID-19 vaccine to Nevada, CCHHS is having to reschedule upcoming COVID-19 vaccination events. There is no estimated time for when the vaccine will be delivered. CCHHS is not cancelling events or appointments; events may be rescheduled but the appointments will not be canceled so you may still receive an appointment confirmation. Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents 
Testing is for Quad-County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County) residents ONLY, all others will be turned away. Events may be canceled 48 hours in advance if inclement weather is expected.
