5 COVID-19 deaths in Carson City and Douglas County reported since Friday

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 1 additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individual was a male Carson City resident in his 80’s. CCHHS is also reporting 24 new cases and 154 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region.

Quad-County COVID-19 Weekend Update

On Saturday, January 23, 2021 there were 59 new cases (22 Carson City, 19 Douglas County, 18 Lyon County, 0 Storey County), 87 recoveries (50 Carson City, 21 Douglas County, 16 Lyon County, 0 Storey County), and 4 additional deaths to due COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individuals were:

  • A female Douglas County resident in her 60’s
  • A female Carson City resident in her 70’s
  • A female Carson City resident in her 90’s
  • A female Carson City resident in her 80’s

On Sunday, January 24, 2021 there were 18 new cases (5 Carson City, 3 Douglas County, 10 Lyon County, 0 Storey County) and 58 additional recoveries (18 Carson City, 16 Douglas County, 23 Lyon County, 1 Storey County) of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region.

The weekend numbers and today’s numbers bring the total number of cases to 10,625, with 6,237 recoveries and 181 deaths; 4,207 cases remain active.
