Northern Nevada’s Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Club (EDGE&TA) will hold its 25th anniversary Antique Engine and Tractor Show on Aug. 7-8. The show will take place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 920 Pinenut Road, Gardnerville. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8. The event will include a tractor pull contest, displays of antique tractors, gas engines, vintage cars and trucks, and machinery as well as a silent auction and raffle for a 1948 Farmall Super A tractor, swap meet and food vendors. The entry fee is $10 for adults. Children younger than 12 years old are free. EDGE&TA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting collection, restoration, preservation, and exhibition of gasoline engines, farm tractors, power driven machinery, and other equipment of historical value.
