A vehicle caught fire that sparked the brushfire that burnt nearly 2 acres on Duck Hill Monday night.

The Truckee Meadows Fire Department says that with the help of an air attack the fire has been suppressed.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Wildfire burning near Duck Hill road in the Lakeview Hill arera. Resources are responding. The fire looks to be on the east side of I-580 as you exit Carson City.
The fire is burning near homes and evacuations are underway.
