Lyon County urges Smith Valley to be prepared for evacuations ahead of Tamarack Fire

Lyon County officials and Smith Valley Fire Protection District met with the Tamarack Incident Management Team today.
The fire is currently moving east toward Smith Valley. Lyon County is recommending that residents on the following streets prepare to evacuate:

Davis Lane
White Mountain Way
Ricky Canyon Circle
Wedertz Lane
Pinion Drive
Red Canyon Road
Day lane
Patrick Drive
Megan Street
