Consideration and possible action
• Presentation and recognition of Lattin Farms and the Weishaupt Homestead for receiving the Centennial Award as Centennial Farms and Homesteads in 2020.
• A Zone Change Application filed by Steven Richards for property located at 9365 Marshall Drive, Assessor's Parcel Number 007-171-41, consisting of 1.0 acre in the C-2 zoning district, whereby the Applicant requests that the property zoning to be changed from C-2 (commercial) to A-10 (residential) due to issues with refinancing wherein the primary use of the property has always been residential.
• Presentation in recognition of accomplishments in high school spring sports for both Oasis Academy and the Churchill County High School, Churchill County
• Approval of special assessments on the 2021- 2022 Secured Tax Roll to each taxable parcel in the Carson Desert Groundwater Basin, Denise L. Mondhink-Felton, Assessor
• Approval of special assessments on the 2021- 2022 Secured Tax Roll to each permitted water right holder in the Lovelock Valley Groundwater Basin and special assessments on the 2021-2022 Unsecured Tax Roll
• Approval of an Interlocal Contract between Churchill County and the Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Nevada Division of Forestry, for wildfire protection in the amount of $28,582, Fallon Churchill Fire Department
• Approval of a Contract with Lumos & Associates for $24,500.00 to assist with and revise components of the 2021 RAISE Grant Application submittal for funding of a new roadway between Moody Lane and Coleman Road.
A. Consideration and possible action re: Approval of an Agreement for purchase of a Conservation/Restrictive Use Easement with Gary Snow and Billie Jo Frazier Snow on Assessor's Parcel Number 006-851-09, totaling 215.08 acres with 173.70 irrigated acres.
• Ratification of an Appraisal Proposal from Johnson Perkins Griffin to provide professional appraisal services for the purpose of evaluating a Conservation Easement on the Nygren property (APN: 009-051-05) and property held by The Paulsen Family Trust (007- 911-53) in the amount of $1,500 per property, for a total of $3,000.
• Approval of an Appraisal Proposal from John S. Wright & Associates to provide professional appraisal services for the purpose of evaluating a Conservation Easement on the Washburn property (APN: 006-751-11, 006-791-19, 006-831-39, 006-851-15 & 006- 851-25) in the amount of $1,500.
• Adoption of Resolution 11-2021 Declaring Churchill County's Opposition to Efforts Seeking to Establish Alternative Forms of Local Government Political Subdivision or any Attempt to Create Separate Government within Churchill County.
• Transfer of funds to the Churchill County Road Department in the amount of $250,000 as approved by the Regional Transportation Commission.
