All 28 of Nevada’s state parks will be open to visitors for free on Saturday.
June 12 is “Discover Nevada State Parks” day and there will be no charge for day use of any of the parks.
“Nevada’s state parks offer a great diversity of outdoor recreation opportunities,” said Parks Administrator Bob Mergell.
He said visitors are invited to pick up their parks passport and add a stamp to their passport while visiting any of the parks. Once visitors have their passport stamped at 15 different parks, they earn a free annual day-use pass to all Nevada state parks.
Information on Nevada’s parks can be found at parks.nv.gov.
